The ultra-compact SIL rotary encoder CD_582+FS from TR-Electronic.

TR-Electronic is at the forefront once again when it comes to functional safety: A real absolute multiturn double encoder system with integrated safety evaluation in the standard size of 58 mm. The SIL-compliant rotary encoder CD_582+FS directly outputs safe position data ("Safe Position" – SLP). Depending on the rotary encoder version this can be for the highest safety level SIL3 or PLe, or as a variant adapted to specific requirements for SIL2 / PLd applications. This ultra-compact SIL rotary encoder can fit into in a wide variety of mounting situations.

You are also well prepared for export: Our encoTRives are now certified by UL as a "recognized component". Do you want to migrate your application to PROFINET but still have systems with PROFIBUS? You can have our drive solutions with both interfaces - completely identical mechanically. Even the program in your control is almost identical. C__582 for the slim local bus

Already in use in linear absolute rotary encoders, TR-Electronic now also offers the efficient "IO-Link" point-to-point communication in its absolute rotary encoders. The remarkable feature of IO-Link: The relevant master is often already present in a machine, usually to read in and parameterize initiators. TR-Electronic rotary encoders with IO-Link use this existing infrastructure to communicate with the control. If a machine or system already has IO-Link integrated as a bus system, the obvious approach is to also control absolute rotary encoders with this bus system. The actual value communication uses a star distribution system between rotary encoder and the next distribution node and is compatible with normal, digital initiator communication.
