Highly reliable, proven absolute rotary multiturn encoder technology made by TR-Electronic now merges seamless into Sercos-Networks. With Sercos in rotary encoders, TR-Electronic closes a gap in the market of components for innovative control- and automation-network. Motion tasks usually use drive-integrated feedback encoders for control. Sometimes, there is the request for detached position of encoder at different position in the machine. With compact 58mm outer diameter, the absolute encoders made by TR fit into most applications. Quite any mechanical attachment is made possible by a vast number of flange- and shaft-types available in standard range. Connection is made via standardized M12-Connectors at the rear end of the housing. This is very room saving – biggest diameter in assembly is the housing diameter of 58 mm. Rotary encoder series CE_58 with Sercos are available with solid shaft and blind shaft. Standard combinations (shaft 10 mm, centering ring 36 mm; shaft 6 mm, centering ring 50 mm) are available, as well as other diameters and geometry. Proven absolute multiturn technology with ultra-long lasting gearbox and high resolution glass disc for main shaft detects position changes even without power and independent from counters or batteries.
