When standard absolute rotary encoders are too big, the new CMV36M absolute multiturn rotary encoder from TR-Electronic is the natural choice. The rotary encoder combines efficient absolute multiturn rotary encoder technology without batteries or counters with an extremely compact 36mm housing and flange diameter. Because no batteries are required, the CMV36M operates absolutely reliably and precisely even in the event of a voltage failure. The CMV36M integrates seamlessly into confined installation situations, for example in apparatus engineering, in small special machines or in laboratory and medical technology. The communication with the control can be synchronous serial, analog or asynchronous serial. A new feature is communication via DRIVE-CLiQ, a continuous drive interface for connecting direct and indirect measuring systems. As a result CMV36M multiturn rotary encoders from TR-Electronic with DRIVE-CLiQ can also be integrated into Siemens controls (SINUMERIK®, SINAMICS®).
